QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ABOUT WITEG

Is it possible for private individuals to purchase directly from witeg?
Our website www.witeg.de is aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs and legal entities under public law or special funds under public law within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB). If you are ordering as a company, please let us know the associated VAT ID number. 
As a manufacturer and wholesaler, we are unfortunately unable to serve private individuals. If you, as a private individual, need laboratory items, we ask you to contact your local laboratory retailer.
Which payment methods are accepted?

We generally offer the payment methods "prepayment", "credit card" and "payment on account". Payment by credit card is only accepted for orders from Germany. The "payment on account" method is reserved for our loyal customers and can only be assigned by us. Please note that orders in the shop do not include packaging and freight costs and you only pay based on our binding order confirmation, which you will receive separately from us by email.

Is there a minimum order value at witeg?
For Germany, EU countries and Switzerland, we are happy to accept your order with a value of €100 or more. For orders under €100, we charge a fee for small quantities of €15 for order processing. 
Outside the EU, a minimum order value of €500 applies. For orders under €500, we unfortunately have to charge the actual costs for order processing plus a surcharge of €50.
Are there any restrictions when purchasing electrical laboratory equipment?
There are no restrictions for Germany. If you want to buy electrical laboratory equipment from abroad, we assume that you have the technical qualifications for commissioning, maintenance and repair on site. Without the basic requirement of technical support, we cannot accept orders for electrical laboratory equipment. In many countries we work successfully with local dealers who can offer both pre-sales and after-sales service. Ask us!
Can our products be used to make cosmetics and food?

Our devices are ideal for general laboratory use and offer reliable performance in a variety of applications. However, we would like to point out that we cannot make specific recommendations for use in cosmetics and food production. In addition, we cannot guarantee the suitability of our devices or the quality of the results in these application fields.
